SPORT CAMPS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Sport Camp bookings will only be accepted on the following terms and conditions.

By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms and conditions contained in this document.

  1. Program Description

Australia Physical Education and Living Group (APEL) gives young International Athletes the chance to experience the Australian way of life in an international sporting and culturally responsive environment. Our sport camps and educational tour offer the chance for young athletes to develop their sporting and life skills in an environment that encourage the spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play.

 

  1. Registration

Online Registration available at the Australia Physical Education and Living Group website.

 

  1. Full Payment

Invoice will be sent to candidate once registration completed. Full payment of the program / camp fee is due and must be received by APEL the later of 30 days prior to the scheduled departure date to Adelaide.

 

  1. Method of Payment
  • Payment made from outside Australia, APEL accept payment by bank draft and international bank transfer. Alternatively, payment could be made to APEL oversea representative.
  • Payment made inside Australia, APEL accept payment by bank draft, cheque and electronic funds transfer.

 

  1. Cancellation and Withdraw of Program

Payments are not refundable after the scheduled arrival date in Adelaide.

 

  1. Refund Conditions

When your registration of booking has been confirmed and you subsequently cancel the booking, you must pay APEL a cancellation fee. Cancellation in different circumstances and refund conditions as below:

Cancellation made in: Refund
More than 14 days prior to scheduled departure date to Adelaide 80% Refund
Between 3 days to 14 days prior to scheduled departure date to Adelaide 50% Refund
Less than 3 days prior to scheduled departure date to Adelaide No Refund

 

  1. Hot and Wet Weather

Australia Physical Education and Living Group (APEL) will be monitor the weather forecast prior any outdoor activities, tournament or training. In the case of hot or wet weather forecast on the day of the event, APEL would provide an alternate plan or indoor option. APEL reserves the right of the final decision on schedule arrangement.

 

  1. Information Guide

Each candidate shall receive an Information Guide once registration completed and payment made. It is the responsibility of each candidate to read through the information guide carefully.

 

  1. Travel Document and Visa

Candidates are responsible for ensuring that their passport, visa and any other travel documents are valid for the duration of the trip. More visa information can be found in information guide which will be send to candidate once registration process completed.

 

  1. Program Insurance and Travel Insurance

Australia Physical Education and Living Group (APEL) shall provide each candidate with its general liability insurance coverage.

This coverage does not apply to non- of the APEL Tennis Camp activities.

However, each candidate should have the obligation to arrange a personal private travel insurance to cover risks such as lost or stolen luggage, cancellation cover (should you not be able to travel due to unexpected medical reasons) and most importantly, unexpected medical costs abroad.

 

  1. Candidate’s Medical Condition / Treatment

All candidate must fill out the medical information on the registration form in case of any medical disorder. It is parent’s and candidate responsibilities to disclose any medical information, which could result in a problem during sports activities. In case of any medical treatment or surgery must be operated, APEL shall contact parents immediately and take the decisions most appropriate for the candidate’s health.

 

  1. Use of Candidate’s Image

Australia Physical Education and Living Group (APEL) would be creating and use of candidate’s photographs, video or audio recording and distribute them in printed publication, website or any social medial accounts, candidate and parents must declare the image consent permission on the registration form.

 

  1. Attitude / Behavior

Each candidate / player understands and agrees that they represent the Australia Physical Education and Living Group at all times on campus and during travel. He/She therefore commits to represent the APEL and its values to the best of his/her abilities.
